ABOUT THE ARTIST
When I was a child I was mesmerized by my peers who could draw. I would watch as they created artistic representations of various subjects and wish I could be like them. It wasn't so much that I wanted to draw what they drew rather I wanted an outlet for my own creativity. For years I resigned myself to drawing stick figures to tell the tales that I yearned to tell.

One day, at the insistence of a friend, I attempted to reproduce the cover of a comic book I had bought. Certain of my own failure I went on to reproduce the cover in exacting detail. Awestruck, I submitted the product of my newfound talent at school for a student art exhibit in which myself and my friend were both recognized for our talents.

Somewhere between then and the end of secondary school I stopped creating art. There was no specific reason for this it was just something that happened. It was not until my late 30s that I decided I wanted to explore my talents and evolve my capabilities. This is a quest that continues to this day.
